Work Wear Safety needs to fulfill a warehouse associate role because this role is critical to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of their warehouse. Warehouse associates are responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping products, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. They also play a crucial role in ensuring that all safety protocols are followed, such as proper handling of heavy machinery, wearing appropriate safety gear, and ensuring that all products are stored and handled safely. Without a qualified warehouse associate, Work Wear Safety may struggle to maintain a safe and efficient warehouse operation, which could lead to increased risk of accidents or errors, as well as decreased productivity and profitability.
Details of the job
In this position you will perform several different warehouse tasks.
- A warehouse receiver collaborates with the appropriate parties (e.g., procurement staff) to review expected deliveries.
- It is expected that shipments are signed upon receipt, that packages are unloaded from incoming trucks, that contents are inspected to ensure they are not damaged, and that packages are verified according to orders and invoices.
- This position will also require you to help with picking and pulling orders to ship to some of our retail locations.
Ideal Applicant traits & Skills
- You will need to be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours per day Monday through Friday. In this role you will be moving boxes manually so you must be able to lift at least 20 pounds. It is preferred that you have warehouse experience using a RF smart scanner.
